HOLY FUCKING SHIT!! Mead just killed me!! It was the greatest experience having Sydney and Adrian together but why on earth did they have to het caught?!?! It's unfair!! I really hate Zoe. However, the whole plotline is just perfect. I mean, Zoe coming to help Sydney, Sydrian vacation to Court, the fight etc. I also loved the way Richelle described their first time. Intoxicating book! I'm still hungover After the wonderfulness that was The Indigo Spell, I was slightly disappointed with this one. Adrian's point of view was an interesting addition. I expected him to be whiny and broody and love sick, and I was right. He and Sydney were both so obsessed with each other sometimes, and while it made sense for Adrian, it was hard to believe that Sydney would be like crazy in love. But this book still had the parts of this series that I love. The team was great, and I'm always glad when Eddie gets some screen time. It's always cool when we get to see our friends from Vampire Academy. The last 50 pages were when things really heated up. I need the next one now! I was honestly expecting the ending to be more intense from the way it was build up. It was still a bummer, but it wasn't exactly earth shattering. I just don't know if any other book in this series will compare with The Indigo Spell.
