I purchased this on my Kindle awhile ago and finally sat down to read it. I really liked the characters, Emma and Cole specially, but I found that some of the plot lines were easy to predict. There were some steamy scenes which were exciting, but they were all in the last half of the book (from 50% on) so it was a lot of character with a little fun. Overall it was good, I read from 40% to the end in one day, so once I really got started I was into it. I thought Layla was a bit childish but there was a lot of history to work through for both Emma and Layla. This is a cute story. Emma is 3 years younger then her sister Layla. Layla has it all and Emma feels like she lives in her sisters shadow. When she was 13 a family moved in across the street. Her new neighbors have a son Cole who is 17. Emma and Layla both had BIG crushs on Cole. Emma knows she doesn't stand a chance against her sister. Layla ends up going a few dates with Cole but Cole wasn't into Layla. He didn't even look at Emma cause Emma was only 13 years old. Years have pasted. Emma is now 24 and Cole is 29. (I think. I might be a year off?) Anyways they run into each other at a coffee shop. Cole can't belive his eyes. Emma has grown and is now a very beautiful lady. They start hanging out, then of course it turns into more. Emma can't believe that her teenage dream guy is actually interested in her. A lot of Drama goes on. Emma doesn't want to tell their families (which are very close and gather every sunday for dinner) but she doesn't want to hurt Layla's feelings. Layla is a little childish. They do actually get into a bit of a fight when Layla does find out. But Cole does have his own set of drama that is also in the story. Overall, I enjoyed it. :) What I didn't like...Sometimes it felt like the story jumped ahead too much. For example they go on what? two dates and boom they love each other. I'm not a fan of that. I like to feel the emotions along with the charators, and I wasn't feeling it.

Emma was a little frustrating at times, but I enjoyed the story.
