I bought this book on sale (99 cents). I figured it would be a light summer read, which it was. I was hoping for a little more "fun" to the story but all in all it held up OK. I feel like the write up on it gives away the entire plot but even if it didn't the book is pretty predictable. Having said all of that, I feel like I should have no problem writing a book and getting a publishing deal. This book feels like it was a first attempt at writing, it reads like an amateur author concocted an idea one night and ran with it. All in all, you get what you pay for. I was looking for light and I got it. Not a bad book but nothing riveting either! The author should change the name of this book to "Not Now." I think in every chapter if someone wanted to talk to her about her bad choices she would say not now. It made her character very unappealing. I didn't feel sorry for the time that Lexi and Leo missed out on one another. I actually felt sorry for her husband and her child. No man should be put in the position Lexi put them in due to her selfishness. It was an okay story and a quick read.
This book was just okay for me. Nothing really grabbed me. Just kind of so-so.
