This is a gay for you shifter book. Corey is a wholesome kind hearted man. He cares for his friends and pack. He is a good Alpha. He is unmated. He is hoping to find his 'soul' mate instead of just setting down with one of the many female suitors. People in his pack are constantly bugging him about 'continuing' the line. Because he isn't just a were, but a Fenrir. A full blooded one. His best friend and beta is gay. In fact, he could also be an Alpha if he wanted too, but he enjoys his place by Corey's side and being his beta only. He is talked into a double date. With the only hope that his mate is the sister. Why? Because he has been having dreams about getting it on in his living room with a hottie with long black hair. He assumes it is a woman, because he isn't into men... That is until he meets Devin, his beta's 'date'. He knows it is him the moment Devin and his twin sister walk into the building. Even though he is certain of it, he is in denial. Because there is no way his mate would be a man. First, he isn't into men. Also, he is an Alpha and people are expecting him to continue the line. Devin, has been on the search for his mate. He knows it is man. He was able to narrow it down to the state. So he and his sister end up in Colorado. They really don't have a pack, they are half fenrir and other shifters frown down upon it. He is ecstatic when he walks in and see Corey. He knows instantly, it is the mate he has been dreaming of for a long time. It doesn't even cross his mind, that his mate will deny him. But that doesn't deter him much. He has found his mate and he will not give up easily. The story is about how the bond brings them together and them falling for each other. But there are some obstacles in the way. Hopefully, they will be able to survive and be together. Also, Corey is going to have to come out to his pack eventually. Having a mate, man or woman isn't something you can hide. But that will have to wait until the next book... EDIT UPDATE: WILL NOT CONTINUE SERIES....So, I have read the reviews for book 2 and 3. Not my thing. I personally will not continue this series, which is a shame. It had great potential. But in book two, there is a threesome involving the main couple, rather than that apparently we do don't see them anymore.I thought okay, how about book 3, so I read reviews. No. Just absolutely not going to happen. Corey from this first book, effed up big time. So my suggestion is to just read this story and leave it be. Two stars because it was written well, but the gay for you was so unbelievable I felt like Corey was being raped. Devin was a jerk to Corey by not being understanding at all of him being straight. I just felt like this whole story was dubious consent. Gay for you stories usually rub me the wrong way. I think you are gay or you're not. I realize this is fictional. And there's a paranormal aspect to it but it just makes me feel uncomfortable.

Not a bad read. Short and sweet to the point but I felt like I knew the characters enough.
