About book Nordic Fairies (2000)

this felt like a very bad reboot of romeo and juliet. the writing was terrible several sentences made no sense. there was no depth to the story. there was tons of mindless drivel that could've and shouldve been replaced with some explanations into the background. the story was disjointed because of all the jumping back and forth through timeline. the heroine despite being a really old fairy acted like a petulant child half the book and lovesick teenager the other half. would not recommend This story is so sad. Well I mean it is but it isn't. Its only the first part of the full story but I'd have to say I'm intrigued so far. Its a story about Svala and Viggo two nordic fairies who are pulled apart from each other. They have to complete tasks to be back with each other until that life end. Then they have to start all over again. Being away from the person you love is hard enough but having a happy life with them and then being pulled away the next to only start all over again must be terrible. The main character is Svala who is blonde with the nordic fairies blue eyes. She seems to only want to be with Viggo and makes all of her choices around that statement. I feel really bad for her in this section of their story because of how Viggo treats her.In this section of their life Viggo is a big movie star and has all the girls loving him. He is dating his co-star who isn't Svala. He seems like hes just trying to get through this life without her.Anyways this book was better than I thought it would be. Of course their is a lot of unanswered questions but that is why this is novella series. I would like to read the next one to figure out what happens next. I would say that this is diffidently worth a try.
