I loved this book so much. In parts i was happy and laughing with all the puns and the next minute i was close to tears. It was such a mind bending idea that i was hooked the instant i picked it up. In my head i tried to plan a better way to end the book or for the situation to better itself but i couldnt because i get it. I mean this boy fell asleep and woke up what felt like a few hours later and his girlfriend was engaged, his best friend was 21 and his parents were divorced. Of course hes confused and lost, but why shouldnt he, he blinked and everything had changed. I also understand how the family and friemds feel i mean this kid died, i mean sure there was a small chance of him waking up but no one believed it. They had to grieve for 5 years, try somehow to get over his death and maybe start to move on and all of a sudden hes back and exactly the same as he used to be( well apart from the completely different body). They've moved on and changed and here he is exactly how he was wanting to pick up where they left off. Its a hell of a head scrather and it kept me enthralled through out the whole book. I simply love this book. For a book that starts with such a strange concept--a boy dying of cancer gets his head cryogenically frozen and wakes up 5 years later with his head surgically attached to another--the rest of the book reads more like witty realistic fiction a la John Green, Maureen Johnson, Andrew Smith, A.S. King, etc as he is trying to deal with the fact that he has not aged while his friends are now in college, and his girlfriend is now engaged. Strange, interesting, entertaining.
