To be honest I really don't agree that this book is just a novella since this is pretty long to be one, like 300 plus pages. Anyway, I kinda like the humor of this book. Though it is part of a series it can still be read as standalone.Cannor was first mentioned in From Ashes because he went after Cassidy there. Glad he gets his own story with Maci because though the plot is common, it still lovely to read because of its humor. Molly McAdams one of the things I love about you is that a Novella is really like a book. You actually wrap things up with your story and a Novella doesn't leave you feeling short changed like some other Novellas. There are countless other reasons for my love for you & your books. Most important is the way they touch my soul when I read them. You write characters that I just connect with. Some you love and some you love to hate but they do touch you in some way. Bryce was my love to hate in this story, just FYI. Maci was my LOVE in this story. I don't know what it was about her that I just connected to but she made me laugh and even shed a few tears.So once again Molly, you ROCK!
