I'm afraid I have nothing fantastic to say about this series. It was just ok for me. It's rare for a book to not hold my attention and I found myself skimming the pages more often than not. There were elements of the story that had great potential, but I just don't feel that the mystery and the romance were used in the best ways. And the ending of this 3 book series was actually quite boring. Overall series rating: 3.5 stars I have to admit, I was nervous about how this was going to end. Said nervousness kept me reading. This Sergio's was excellent. It was well written, and well balanced with a touch of suspense, intrigue, and steaminess. Most of the character development was solid. Watts and Catherine learned to understand each other without judgment. One thing specifically, they both extended grace to each other to be who they were. Any change came from their own desire to do so. I really liked Watts. He was indeed an alpha male but with precision. He was not a angst filled man with emotional instability. He put thought into everything, all the while being upfront with Catherine pertaining to the complexities of this life and work. All because he needed her to make decisions based truth. I loved that. I also loved that Catherine knew when to not ask questions. She wasn't a woman that needed to know everything. She wasn't a woman that talked too much. There were moments where they were silent...understanding that not everything in some instances need not to be said. This was an amazing series. It flowed flawlessly.
Do You like book Naked Risk (2000)?
