About book My Milk Toof: The Adventures Of Ickle And Lardee (2011)
My Milk Toof is a children's graphic novel. The book is about two little tooth named Ickle and Lardee. Ickle and Lardee are the best of friends, as they go on mischievous adventures together. The book is not very wordy, so it can be read in about 10 minutes. This graphic novel isn't something that I would pick up to read, but it is really cute. The cover itself is foamy and the cover photo is really adorable. The end paper is super cute with little milk toof illustrations. This would be a great graphic novel to read if you like super adorable things or if you have a little child. What I really like about this book is that all the illustrations are actual photographs. Each and every photo is carefully set with little tiny props. I really enjoyed looking through all the photos, I can't imagine how long each little set must have taken. Overall, this is a cute little book to read with your little one. You can take them on an adventure with Ickle and Lardee. Finding Inhae Lee's blog was one of the highlights of my year. The cute and sometimes naughty little milk teeth, Lardee and Ickle, captivated me with all of their whimsical charm. I spent an entire Saturday morning reading every single one of Lee's vignettes that date back to 2009. I received this book from a dear friend for my birthday. Many of the same adventures that were on the blog were also in the book with a couple of need additions. I think my only points of criticism is that there wasn't enough new stuff...and I also felt that the selections didn't fully capture Lardee's innocent charm. That said - buy the book, love the book, read it over and over. But visit the website too.
