About book Muzica Inimii (2013)

I would have given this story 5 stars if not for the lack of closure that I felt was needed (mostly for Jason and Rosie). The author did a wonderful job in creating emotional characters. It was great to be the "by-stander" and watch with my imagination their daily struggles. Ben was great, awesome. Jem - not quite so, but it was understandable...This lovely story needed more space, more scenes. It seemed rushed and it was a feeling that appeared repeatedly. So..the novel has everything you need...but in limited portions. Nevertheless, I ; - ) recommend it! A love story about two damaged individuals, one with secrets she cannot afford to remember, and one with secrets he was not afford to disclose. Both are afraid to bridge the gap between others and themselves. These similarities draw them to each other even as they keep them at a distance, circling like a pair of wounded feral cats. The leavening agent in this otherwise brooding yet tender tale is provided by the heroine's raunchy roommates, including an endearing baby named Harry and a Johhny Depp look-alike artist with a strong penchant for overalls and flood boots. This book keeps the tragedy and comedy well separated between the past and present, creating a nice and rather neat little bundle of lessons.

This book was ok, but it did go on a bit was glad when it finished to be honest.

For a chic-lit book, the two main characters have such a screwed up life.
