* * * * * 5 Star ReviewDetectice Nick Palladin and his 4 legged sidekick Zenon, were in a stalk job, some of his co-workers as well as his captain would tell him he wa obsessing about this particular case he worked on his days off. Never in his wild imagination would he had thought that one particular afternoon his life was going to change forever.Emily Milan, was dogsitting for her bestfriend while she was gone for the holidays, she knew that in order for her life to change like she had been wanting she needed to aced the interview she had schedule for that afternoon. Emily being a dog lover she knew that taking care of Pogo was going to be an easy job. On her way to taking Pogo to her walk, before her interview, Emily is introduced to the man and dog that will change her future plans. Can Nick and Emily find their HEA in the company of Zenon and Pogo?Being a dog lover, I found this story one of my favorites. I love how this is a romantic suspence kind of love story. If you are a dog lover, then this is the BOOK FOR you. I recommend for you to read this book. Dog loving detective Nick Palladin wants nothing more than to be transfered to the K-9 unit. He only has to do one thing first, catch a sleazy veterinarian that he believes is behind a human trafficking ring. Unfortunately Nick has no evidence to connect him to the crime except for the dying words of a young girl forced into prostitution. While undercover as a sexy Santa Clause, Nick and his dog Zenon meet Emily Milan and Pogo, the dog she is watching for a friend. It's lust at first site for all parties involved, but Emily will only be in town for a short time. After a break in, an unfortunate accident, and a trip to the vet Nick, Emily and the dogs discover some unexpected clues to tie the vet to the crime. But once it's all over Nick needs to convince Emily to stick around. This was a very cute and very quick holiday read. It was a Kindle freebie, and worth the read. The only problem I had is that the romance was just as short as the book (this is a novella) was. The whole thing occurs in 17 days no there was not really very much time for the characters to really connect. Still it is a good romantic Christmas short.

I had a great time reading this story. The dog's attitude were very funny and their handlers more.

Cute, fluffy, short and Christmas-y. I liked both Emily and Nick and their dogs.
