I just finished this book and i loved how you never knew what was gonna happen. Liberty was sold into slavery as a whore and ashai got lucky. He finally saved her but didn't get to live the rest of his days out with her because she had a bad heart and he committed suicide after he told her the story one more time before they ended in that hospital. Nico was a trifling mf, had willow killed and had everybody set up because he was jealous of ashai. Overall I enjoyed the book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys urban fiction I was still crying 10 minutes after I finished Murderville #1. I don't even know how and when I stumbled upon this book as I don't usually do trilogies but I'm glad I did. Non-stop action from cover to cover. An emotional roller coaster where you find yourself shouting, cheering, getting aggravated, irritated and then in a puddle of tears. Ashai and Liberty get lodged in your heart and you can't help but cheer them on through the story even though you know right from the beginning that they do find each other despite their separation after leaving Murderville. Baron, Willow, Niko, Samaad are unforgettable characters also. There is love, violence, sex, action. I couldn't put it down and when #1 finished, I immediately started #2 because you are curious to know what happens next. Note: this trilogy will be "read" via audible.com The reader, Cary Hite, is an excellent choice for the series.
