Do You like book Murder In The White House (2001)?
I really enjoy reading series books, particularly in order. I had read some of the later novels by this author and decided to now go back and start with number 1. While reading it, I discovered that I had read it many years ago, but re-read it because I could not recall how it all pulled together. In addition, I like reading these Margaret Truman books since she has her roots in Missouri (my home state) being the daughter of Harry Truman. The book is good, perhaps somewhat dated, but that does not interfere with the plot line. I will plow ahead and slowly read them all.

I was forced to read this book in the summer before my senior year of high school for my political science class. I wasn't happy about having to read a typical CVS novel, but started reading anyway. Then all of a sudden, a little while in, I discovered that I couldn't put it down: I needed to know what happened to these characters. I needed to know who did it. I needed to know what happened. It was better than expected. Incredibly cheesy at times, but it left enough of an impression on me to remember it over two years later.
