Clearly, this book was written to appease those who have accused Kate of "grifting". Although I'm not religious, I felt that Kate's references to God were totally disingenuous. I believe she loves her children, but she should take responsibility for her decisions. I've had both IUI and IVF--everyone warns you about multiples. The possibility of selective reduction is constantly mentioned. I think Kate foolishly felt that 6 babies were a way of getting famous. She was right. I love watching Jon & Kate plus 8 because it is really interesting to see how a big family functions since I am an only child. Reading this book was only a bonus to the show as I got to see a little insight into what makes Kate Kate. I really admire her ability to not care what people think about her in order to make sure that her kids are taken care of in the manner that she sees fit. It was also really heartbreaking to hear her tell what it's like to have six infants and love them to pieces but know that you won't be there for every one of their firsts becuase you can't be in six places at once. I recommend this book to anyone who has seen this couple in the news lately. I really can feel for this mother now that I've gotten to see into her head a little.
A refreshing perspective from Jon and Kate.....read this instead of the tabloids.
