I loved the second book in the Barboza Brothers' Series and enjoyed the first book, therefore, I had very high expectations for the final book. This book just was not as strong as the first two, and I give it a 3.75 rating. At times, this story was entertaining and it was great it included all the people from the past books. The brotherly love between the men was front and centered in this book, which I liked. Plus, I just loved Ramon relationship with Cara's son. Ramon and Marcy's relationship started out with great passion, desire, and very hot Love Scenes. Gosh, I was blushing when Ramon explained how he took lessons and that was the reason why he was such an expert with his, well,- - you know! But, the book dragged on too long and I started to get bored with Ramon and Marcy. It was the longest 4 weeks. As for Marcy, she should not have betrayed Ramon by helping Victor. I could totally relate to Ramon for being so made at her and not trusting her. I also felt both Cara and Katie were too hard on Ramon, even though, at times he was a pain in the neck to everyone around him. But, gosh, his house was taken over by Cara's family and friends, and he had no say in it. No wonder the man was not happy. Once again the author caught me off guard with the mystery involving Henry. I thought I had it all figured it out from Book 2, but Ms. Austin added an element of surprise, when the mystery was finally revealed. What was not revealed or maybe, I just did not get the connection, was why Armando was treated so harshly and almost left for dead when he was 18, which was how the second book, Armando's Return, began. I still do not understand how how Henry's secret and Katie's father involvement with Henry's past, would have led to the cruel treatment Armando received for loving Katie. So all in all, 3.75 is my rating. WOW! WHAT A GREAT SERIES! I HATED FOR IT TO END BUT ITS GOOD TO END A SERIES ON A GOOD NOTE (please know when to quit). I WOULD RATHER THAT INSTEAD OF SO MANY OF THESE SERIES (there are so fuc*ing many) THAT JUST GO ON AND ON AND THEIR NOT WORTH A SH*T. I LOVED ALL THE CHARACTERS AND THE MESSAGE EACH ONE GAVE. TRUST, LOVE OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS (something their is very little of today)AND THE FEAR OF BEING ALONE. THE LESSON OF NOT KEEPING SECRETS, WHICH CAUSED SO MANY PROBLEMS, IN THE FIRST PLACE. RAMONE & MARCY WERE PERFECT FOR ONE ANOTHER, EACH IS WHAT THE OTHER NEEDED. I THINK RAMONE WAS BY FAR THE MOST SEXXY,STEAMY HOT OF THE BARBOZA BROTHERS, HE WAS THE BEST LOVER (hell the man took lessons on it). GROWL!! HE WAS SO TALENTED. . .SOOOOOOO VERY TALENTED, WHAT A MAN. VIVA "LA LENQUA"!!!! ;D
