Loved the title and cover art. I can't say that I really cared about the main character until I was maybe 60 or 70% through the book. I was disappointed... There is something romantic about used books and antique shops. I love the idea of "things" having a story. I think it had an ok ending, but I wish it would have ended after the visit to the park so that I could have had a little more closure. Having said that I loved Henry and Catherine. Page-turner about Maggie, a Southerner transplanted to Silicon Valley at the start of the tech boom, who finds herself at loose ends following a layoff. She starts hanging out (and eventually working) at a used bookstore that has seen better days. When her new book club is reading Lady Chatterly's lover, she discovers a hidden romance in the marginalia of a battered copy her boss gives her. When she posts the lovers' notes online, the forgotten bookstore draws new customers. Maggie has to figure out what she really wants in every aspect of her life. King handles some elements deftly, though there are a few missteps. Very enjoyable read.
