Neither of them behave as supposed. don't have a good feeling about the marriage. This is my first Anne Perry book. I didn't start with the first Monk book, but moved right on the #16. I did read a bit of background information on Monk on the internet, but not having read the first 15 books the Monk series didn't seem to impact my review. I liked it. I like the characters and I liked how they had a lot of history together. The story was interesting and kept my interest. I would say that it left me pretty satisfied.
Good book in the Monk series. I am curious about the new direction the series seems headed.
