About book Mission Unstoppable (2011)

Title: The Genius Files-Mission Unstoppable Author: Dan GutmanStory ElementsSetting: This story takes place in America and the time is all day long. List the Main Characters and their traits. The main characters are Coke and Pepsi and he/she is 12 years old but then turn 13 because they are twins. They are the spy’s who work in a secret organization they are not the only ones there are others.Another character is Mr. Benjamin McDonald and he is the father of Coke and Pepsi and does not know about the kids being spies.Another character is Bridget and she is the mother of Coke and Pepsi and also has no idea about the kids being spies and she works for a blog which is called amazing but true. The problem which the kids are facing is that a group of people are trying to kill them and they don’t know why and every time they make and attempt to terminate them they always fail because the two geniuses who have been selected amongst the kids of America to join a secret government always find a way out. In the end they find out who wants to kill them but you must read the book to find out who it is and what they want from them.Importantm events• In the beginning of the story Coke and Pepsi meet Mya who is part of the organization but don’t know it yet.• Coke and Pepsi meet bones another group member of the organization but they don’t know it yet• Coke and Pepsi find out who they are and then come part of the group never knowing that they were selected.• Coke and Pepsi start going on a road trip all the way to Washington DC• Coke and Pepsi meet the people who want to kill them again in a sand dune but make it out alive• Coke and Pepsi fight the people again in a museum and win• They get a code saying come to the house on the rock but don’t know what it is• They stop an attack in the biggest ball of twine sight• They find out the house on the rockEnding of the bookIn the end of the book they meet the people who try to kill them and capture them in the infinity room after that they find out the people who were trying to kill them. They then kill the owner of the group who is trying to kill them and then run back to their mothers.Theme and connectionsIn the story I don’t think there is a theme but it might be don’t get into things you don’t know. Because some people try to kill them and don’t know why and in the end knowing that the people who are killing them are actually killing them because they are in a certain group. How I am connected to the story, Im not really like who Coke and Pepsi are because they have different personalities however the only similar thing is that Coke is a boy and I am too.Opinion: in the end of the book I thought it was predictable because in every movie and story well most of them the good one always wins so I knew that Coke and Pepsi were going to make it out alive even in the most desperate points. However I read this book in class and first I didn’t like it but I kept on reading and then found it too interesting to stop so that’s what I have to say about the book its really catchy. My opinion of the book is that I liked it because there was lots of description and really catchy and also is really interesting because lots of things is happening all the time . For example, when they get ciphers which they have to figure out or when they have to get themselves out of trouble or the time they drive a car. The book was predictable because the good people always win mostly and also that they always get out alive. The ending of the book was when they find out who has been sending the ciphers and then fight him ending his life while he falls down a hole it was surprising to find out that the guy who was trying to kill them was the owner of the secret group. My favorite part was when Coke and Pepsi had to fight off an enemy in a dessert all by them self and get trapped in a hole but manage to survive read on to find out. A connection I made with the book was that I have had so close death experiences but not people trying to kill me.Recommendation I would recommend this book to others keeping the reader thrilled with close death experiences and fighting of enemies who are way older than them jumping of cliffs and skydiving to going over 80Mph in a salt lake with an RV to getting trapped in a 3 meter deep hole in the middle of a sand dune read this book and read there other 2 series. I would recommend this book to students as there is easy language not to hard book to read just long and interesting this book is for intermediate readers who can read books which have a good amount of length A rating for this book would be 10/10 because this book is so interesting wanting you to keep on reading nonstop wanting to know what happens next. Coke and Pepsi Mcdonald were two normal kids except for the fact that they are genius. They were going on a road trip with their parents. They wanted to have a normal summer but they figured out that they were in a program that are for geniuses but it got corrupted and now have to die. But because they are geniuses they are able to survive through the messy situations. So through whole trip they have a chip in there head to be found. Then other geniuses join to kill them and win the prize. The Genius Files is about to kids going on a crazy trip, also near to impossible ways to get out of their situations, and amazing twists in the story.
