I won this book on a Goodreads giveaway. I would probably give this actually 3.5 stars if possible, since I save 4 stars for classics and such! But for football fans (Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, and now PSG), and this will probably be wildly popular in Europe, Ibra tells an honest, earnest and even touching story that truly embraces contradictions. As of course this very conversational / spoken sounding narrative must encompass, as the last few pages sum up eloquently -- for a kid who goes from the projects to crazy and beyond rich celebrity status in one lifetime. All fans must admire the achievements of this striker, who just won FIFA goal of the year 2013, even if they don't always like the volatile personality. His current family life with his wife and two sons seems very stable and admirable. Look out for the tell all chapters on Pep Guardiola! And there are lots of details to enjoy, for example, some bits about Mourinho and a few snapshots of other players as well. And yes, he loves his fast cars. I think the details of his childhood with a drunken, now devoted father, and frantically working mother, divorced, are most compelling, even more so than the tales of those amazing last seconds when scoring in huge matches. Read this in a few days!

Prevedibilmente auto-assolutorio. Inutile
