This book is about a soccer player named Leo messi. It goes back, before he was a super soccer player he talks about his childhood and when he won his first metal. What I think about this book is that it could have been better. I mean I wanted more action, him talking about being in the game or how much presser there is when he talks a winning shot or how was it when he won his first metal, you know stuff like that. I give it a 3.5 on a scale of 1 to 5. But that's me if you like soccer or I die hard fan of the game this is a book for you. i wasn't even going to read this but then something came over me and i HAD TO start reading and finish the book in one sitting. which is maybe why the flaws of the book stood out to me more. it can be considered a good read for the uninitiated or those who know little about leo but if you already know too much about him then it reads like an abridged cliffnotes version of his life so far. weirdly enough i felt like there weren't enough emphasis on his latter barça years but instead you got too much maradona (DON'T CARE) and random argentines hating on his ridiculous achievements -- to which i'll say NO THANK YOU. also, the author on more than one instance described pedro as a "brazilian". i thought i was reading wrongly or maybe he was describing another barça winger that perhaps i wasn't aware of at first but nope. he was talking about our pedrito. what a confusing book.
It opens the perspective to meet the person behind the soccer monster.
