I thought I had read this before, but it had been marked on my "to-read" list so I read it (again.) After reading the first page, I knew that I had read it before, but couldn't remember the ending. Usually this doesn't say much for the book, but I really enjoy Crouch's writing style and how she builds characters. I like the truth and humor in the situations and how she doesn't always go for the pretty. Though I would prefer a more complete ending, but I dodn't mind the openness of it. This was a book I chose because of its cute name and its striking cover, and though I did enjoy it, I can't say i would recommend it highly. The storyline will ring true to anyone who is going through some sort of separation anxiety, whether it be with a partner, a family member or even a pet. The lesson I took from the book is to move on with life and roll with the punches, but you can't do that unless you make the decision to let go. And sometimes that takes time and TLC.
