Wooooooo. Sexy stuff.I like the sex scenes. They were written very tasteful but still stimulating. I thought the world seemed very realistic but still exotic and foreign, and not just because it was set in foreign countries.My only issue with this book was the way dialogue was written. I understand its a journal kind of thing but the way conversations were written was very confusing. I didn't always understand who was speaking. That should have been made clear.Other than that, I highly recommend this book. This was a really fun read. I would describe it as a satirical memoir full of raunchy humor and unfortunate yet entertaining circumstances. After reading a few romances with rent boys in them I was looking for something like that again and came across this. This is definitely not that but I'm still glad I read it.Oliver is a Lord whose gone broke due to a series of bad decisions and a few deaths in the family. He stands to lose his family castle because he can't pay the taxes and the debt collectors are breathing down his neck. The only way for him to turn his life around it to marry a rich woman who will fund him and he doesn't care who it is. Given that he's pretty much ruined his name through a series of very public scandals he can't be picky. Enter the Matchmaker who is tasked with finding him a wife and offers him a way to make some money while she looks. How you ask? By being a high class escort, of course. What ensues is nothing short of hilarious and Oliver plunges head first down the rabbit hole. From a life of privelage to a world of whoring, we follow Oliver on his mission to survive.There are sex scenes but it's not really an erotica book. The author has a unique writing style and snarky wit that will draw you in very quickly. I've read all of the serial novellas in the series now and am looking forward to the next one.
This book was gifted by the author. It's a quick read that's hot with a bit of humor.
