Funny thing is I smelled apple throughout my reading LOL Okay, I didn't expect it to be this good, rarely heard the main characters in the previous books. Both of them made small appearances here and there, that's all. Anyway, I think the ending is a bit rushed considering their relationship built slowly as employer-employee then friends. It's still good though. Like Mel would said, Boy howdy, this has become one of my favorite from the series. Can I move to Virgin River now? *wish this town was real* :DThank you, Ms. Carr. Your wisdom shine through your work. It's one of many reasons why I love Virgin River, simple stories about simple people and simple way of life (I mean it in a good good way), yet they pack a punch in terms of values and kindness. One of the more chaste Virgin River instalments (there's nothing more than a kiss before the last couple of pages) concerning the single mother with the troubled past, Nora Crane and former marine Tom Cavanaugh who has to change his perceptions of what he wants before he can claim the woman of his dreams. But this is Virgin River and the homey story is all part of the attraction of this much loved series. We also get a peek at Hank Cooper, the helicopter pilot who starts off her new series, Thunder Point.★★★☆ (3.5 stars)
