I bow before this author in the deepest gratitude for this incredible and all-encompassing series that she has crafted. The characters are amazing, lovable, hot and heady. I fell in love with the first book in the series, The Mephisto Convenant, and could not wait for the second book. Was it as good? Oh YES!! Are the characters as well developed and were they able to make me melt into a puddle? Oh yes, and YES!!There are so many elements of this story that I loved. Ms. Faegen does a remarkable job bringing her characters to life and combining humor, sassiness, heartache, desperation, loyalty and that magical pull of passionate love together into an unforgettable story. The scenes jump all over the world as the brothers travel where they are needed, where they must do take-downs, learn of past histories, fight their will-do-anything-to-take-over-Hell brother, Eryx and defend the goodness of the world. I loved that yearning and sizzling passion between Kyros and Jordan. Yes, this is a young adult novel and the sensual scenes are steamy, but not to the point that adult books take. It is more the undercurrents of their passion and that trying-to-resist aspect that will raise that hairs on your arms and make your heart skip a beat. There are no overt sex scenes or anything of that sort within the story.Each scene is written in a vivid and incredible style that allows the reader to truly see and feel as though they are there. As I was reading The Mephisto Kiss, I truly felt as though the world around me melted away and I was inside the lives of Kyros and Jordan. I still feel their story and their characters within me, several days after I have finished reading the book. For me, this is the ultimate in reading – the strong bond and connection that the author allows me to form with her world and her characters and this series has definitely done that for me.Each book is written in a way that they can be read in order or on their own. I cannot recommend The Mephisto Kiss enough to lovers of great paranormal reads, YA reads, or simply a book that will carry you away. Trinity Faegen is one of my all time favorite authors and I am drooling to read more of her works – so I hope she writes INCREDIBLY quickly!! :)Favorite Quote: ”You’d never lie to me, but you still doubt. Силно се надявам да видя и третата книга преведена на български, защото имам усещането, че тя ще е най-силна от трите.Охх, иска ми се да напиша едно дълго ревю, в което да изразя всичките си емоции от книгата, но ме е страх да не издам нещо и ще се въздържа.Само ще кажа, че който не прочете тази книга, ще загуби много - поне според мен. :)
