About book McFly - Unsaid Things... Our Story (2012)
I've been an avid McFly fan since I was nine years old, and I adored those four idiots with all my heart. I never thought a day would come where I could love them more, but after reading through this brilliant book (because it is brilliant, whether you're a McFly fan or not; it's a fantastic story that's hilarious and heartbreaking) that day arrived. It's such an insightful, humorous book that had me cackling with laugher and sobbing into the pages. It's just an amazing book written by amazing people. As a McFly fan it would be rude not to pick this up. I took it on holiday with me, and as I like a good nosey I didn't think it would take me long to read it. It didn't, but as a McFly fan a certain chapter in particular was hard to read. But you have to admire the brutal honesty of the book and applaud them for being so honest, even when sometimes you can tell some things must have been hard to admit. However saying that it wouldn't be McFly without the comical moments which actually make you laugh out loud and have everybody stare at you. Even if you are not a fan of McFly you can still read this as it really gives everybody an insight into the band. Even if you think you know everything about them, or know very little about them. Its a good read.
