Excellent Georgian Historical Romance with all the drama and attention to detail that comes with a true complete novel! As you read this precious jewel of a book you will laugh and cry and you will not want to put this book down until you are done! Each character is so delectable that you will have withdrawals once you are done reading it. Ms. Luncinda Brant has got me started on Georgian Historical Romance and now I'm looking to read more by her. Enjoy this great love story, and be sure you have a box of Kleenex handy because you will need it. I....what? No. I found this one on Amazon promotion (read: free!) and thought it was going to be one of the good ones. A secret, forced marriage in which the hero and heroine have to fall in love through adversity!? YES! It had all the hallmarks of a "good" romance novel. Well, in reality, it was not to be so. They marry at very young ages via family machinations (she was 12, I'm not sure how old he was) in the first chapter. In the second chapter I as very confused as it seemed no wedding had ever taken place and nothing had changed for her. What? Turns out she doesn't remember the wedding (they gave her some Super Sleepy Syrup to keep her cooperative - I'm not entirely convinced it was necessary given her personality, so: plot device?) and they've....not bothered to remind her for years upon years. He was whisked away to see the world immediately after and she's been kept from the reality of the situation....somehow....and has no idea she's a woman of rank, title and was already an Old Married Lady at 19. Yet she's attended a Season...? Whyyyyyyy? The book was boring and confusing in parts. It couldn't keep my interest and the details were too unbelievable for me to enjoy. Life is too short to read books that don't hold my attention so I didn't finish it.
Do You like book Matrimonio Di Mezzanotte (2013)?
It was okay. If you don't mind snuff being a minor character. Because it was.
