"«Meglio stare attenti» l'ammonì lui, sorridendo. «Ci stannoguardando tutti.»«Allora diamo loro qualcosa da vedere.» Genevieve si alzòin punta di piedi e lo baciò."Devo ammettere che avevo apprezzato di più la storia di Alec, ma anche questo terzo capitolo della serie Le leggende di St. Dwynwen è stato scorrevole e coinvolgente! ;) Myles mi è piaciuto subito fin dalla sua prima apparizione, ben lungi dall'essere il classico eroe tormentato e tenebroso, sembra sprizzare gioia di vivere da tutti i pori e con la sue esuberanza riesce prevedibilmente a sciogliere anche la Lady di ghiaccio, alias Genevieve (ovviamente con l'aiuto della sue esuberante e adorabile famiglia!)XD la parte gialla relativa al colpevole delle macchinazioni che hanno portato i nostri due eroi al matrimonio l'ho trovata di facile soluzione, l'unico dubbio che avevo erano le motivazioni di questa persona che ho indovinato al 50 % ahahah XD Per il resto ho trovato un po' tirate e superficiali le varie litigate tra i due neosposi, che praticamente hanno qualche incomprensione dovuta al fatto che Genevieve è stata allevata come una vera lady, tutta regole e bon ton, mentre Myles è più spontaneo e aperto e vorrebbe che lei pensasse meno alle regole e pù all'amore che dovrebbe nascere tra loro ;) La passione comunque non manca e ho apprezzato molto il gran finale in cui Genevieve "rivendica" pubblicamente Myles come suo marito e innamorato, insomma una perfetta manifestazione che la Lady di ghiaccio si è trasformata in una donna piena di fuoco! ;D Cam is an auto-buy author for me. She tends to have a touch of sweet, humor, mystery, and fun in each story. This story is pretty light on the mystery. I liked the interactions between Myles and Genevieve. They sort of start out as frenemies. They bicker with each other but at the same time have each others back. Genny is noted for her iciness in the ton, but she is really just shy and because of her upbringing believes that she doesn't have a heart. Myles has been a friend of her brothers, and comes to Genny's rescue after she is ruined and proposes to her. There are some misunderstandings, which at times were frustrating and the ending was anti-climatic.

Not exactly a page turner. The plot was a little dull and the premise was thin.
