Diana has the ability to take a story that you thought you knew and completely change your perspective. Her writing style reaches out and captures your heart and mind and she makes you fall in love with the characters! This story gave me a heart of compassion for Martha and a more realistic approach to understanding who she was! Also, it never ceases to amaze me how she magnifies Jesus in her writings IT IS MAGNIFICENT....brings me to tears, causes me to pray and rejoice at the same time. I recommend this novel Martha has always been a character from the Bible who has interested me. When I read this book, I realized just how much her life was affected by Jesus. Her brother Lazarus is raised from the dead. That's a very strange experience for anyone. This book really helped me put myself in Martha's shoes, and think about her life. I especially like the way Jesus was described: his kind eyes, telepathic communication, and being able to know what everyone was thinking. I didn't love the way this book was written, though.
