This is a good short read. It starts out like it is going to be dark but then when Cade is reunited with Gracie things looks up. Gracie needed to find herself but Cade blaming himself for an accident was not how she was goiing to do that. Cade didn't understand exactly how to dominate safely and Gracie didn't know how to submit fully. When Gracie came back and was showing Cade what she learned was wonderful until he got jealous. Once he fully realized what she went through to be with him he turned out to be a better person. Trying to juggle being a Dom sometimes while other times just wanting the normal couple was hard for him until he got help. My rating is more like 3 1/2 stars. And not because it was short. For two people who love each other sure have an odd way of showing it. You don't hold on to someone from your past and expect the person you love to be ok with it. You don't give the person you love an ultimatum. While I like the idea of the story, I don't like any of the characters. Gracie is selfish. Cade is just...flat. And Martin needs to mind his own business.
