This was an interesting read for me. Fantasy is not usually my genre. However, I was intrigued by this one. Men (knights) bond with Dragons to fight off their enemies. There are very few women who can put up with dragons and knights, so there are not many women for the knights to choose from. So, they share their women. The dragons actually have a lot to do with how and who the knights get their mates.I liked this story. There was just enough action to keep it intriguing. The romance between the three of them is nice. It's sweet, hot, and interesting. I can't believe I have to say this, but people need to be informed how many people they are actually agreeing to be intimate with. This happens multiple times and it doesn't matter that she's 'fine' with it after the fact. Better on the continuous than the informed part of consent. Also, patently false statements like "No mate was worse than a bad mate" are terribly harmful and encourage abusive relationships simply because it's supposedly better than being alone.
Do You like book MaidenFlight (2006)?
Meh. Entertaining enough. I'll prolly give the next book a shot.
