I enjoyed the series overall. Was nice to have a main character that wasn't over powered so to speak, and was a bit clueless at times. I did find the "my dad is a big meanie and evil" whinge kind of annoying after awhile though.I liked the ending but I feel there's much that could be done with "St Johns" and hope to see more about that in the future. It just doesn't feel like the series is "done".I would also like to add books about Shame and Terric...eh I found those characters rather annoying throughout. This series was very well written. I liked how it was one big story that developed and arced from the very 1st book up to the end. Zay was not my favorite, gotta admit. I like the beat poet vibe I got from him, but I didn't find him overly likable- then again- he tried to be largely standoffish, so there was that. I wish there had been more to her past revealed. It seems like there's more we needed to know about her relationship with Eli. I'm suspecting he will be a player in Terric and Shame's series. It will be interesting to see if he does, in fact, turn up. Overall, very good. A series I was happy to spend time with and one that I'll recommend. I will be looking forward to and reading the next series when it comes out.
Do You like book Magic For A Price (2012)?
The ending to the series seemed a little rushed but overall a good way to wrap it all up.
