All in All, I would say a book which needs to be read with a bit of an unbiased mind. Especially, some instances that were jotted are real and sad but they may hurt certain sentiments of a particular diaspora.The thing is author has presented his view and its very fine because that is how he was brought up and that is what he has faced. On the similar lines, the people who have been "brought up" in other states of India might feel reading it a bit awkward. So I would say the review of such book is more of a Subjective matterOverall the lucid language and way of description is good i felt. Ultimately, Journalist prevails to a writer, i would say. Sorry but that's my view. :) This book was gifted to me by one Kashmiri friend of mine. The title and the cover itself made me want to read the book. As i started reading it, it felt like an emotional roller-coaster. An eye opening book for every Indians who wants to know the reality of Kashmir, because what we come to know about Kashmir in newspapers are only those which we want to hear. This book is based on reality.
