Obviously written by a fledgling writer, the overuse of the characters names was distracting, when they were together the dialogue should tell the reader who is speaking and his actions rather than the author. The story could have done with more show not tell sections. On the whole it was a nice tale, a little naive to be honest and rushed at the end. There were sections that should have been edited out, for example, the section about Wendell's mother dying of cancer, this added nothing to the story apart from a distraction as we are given the information but nothing is done with it, making it irrelevant. I'm hope the author will learn his craft as he continues to write. A very short, erotic story about Wendell choate a young deaf man who has been out of work for over a year. He has a small income from Social Security and Disability, but he'd much rather have a job. He found a want ad in the newspaper for Luscious Love, a local chocolate shop and went there to apply for the job. Wendell finds much more than he was looking for. I found this to be a fun and very sexy read and will look for more from this author.
