About book Última Llamada ¿siempre Contestas Al Teléfono? (2008)
The rating for this book is between three and four stars. The most common point in all the reviews is the way we all are pulled toward "Frozen Fire", the beginning. Same thing everybody is saying is how the reader is sucked in. The first chapter of this book increases the expectations, and by the end there are lots of different reactions. Tim Bowler has left an open ending, the great mystery in the story is not revealed and there are no answers given. None. Some people find this quite frustrating and others (like myself) look at it as a strong point, because like that it stays with you for a long time. Forcing you to rethink and rethink, which is why it makes this book immanent. The author has taken his time writing page after page without any particular event happening so the reader has to be very patient. But since there are very little information given about the mysterious character, there is an urge to keep on reading. Waiting to see what will happen, what else can we find out? Generally speaking, I really enjoyed reading this book. Conclusion: Overall "Frozen Fire" is a good thriller, but for those of you who like a fast paced thriller and answers for mysteries, I don't recommend it. eerie and the beginning is full of suspense but then it drags on and peters out....... the ending was exactly as I suspected it to be......dad is out of his depth without the mum and the mum conveniently makes a comeback; the "ghost" starts to be predictable; the main character, Dusty, seems to be strong-willed but is only trying to come to terms with her losses in the way she knows.......could be a good book but the story is drawn out
