Just fell short of perfection to me. Whilst I loved the first half of it, the second half was rife of unnecessary banter and tedious digressions i.e. if I wanted to read Mansfield Park or watch Tangled, I would have. Kelly was a bit OTT in the schmaltz factor that he leaned on ridiculous. Considering the book's length, I would have hoped for more of a satisfactory conclusion regarding several minor characters in the epilogue. Two pages of dialogue was not enough. 4 solid stars. What a fun book! It's really good. Some memorable quotes:“Anywhere you couldn’t be who you are isn’t somewhere you’d want to be no matter what. It might feel more limited, but that’s not all bad.
