About book Love @ Facebook (2000)

I took up this book after watching three three seasons of "the big bang theory" in two days, more so because I wanted to give myself rest from myself continuously staring at my laptop.A friend of mine gave it to me,and I read it through in one sitting. The book is unexpectedly refreshing, the narration seems realistic, the only problem is that d storyline is predictable.U always know what is coming up in d next chapter, but given this is was the first attempt of the author,it is understandable. The book is relateable, almost every girl has a guy in some part of her life has who genuinely cares for her,but she could not bring herself to romantically incline herself towards him. Also "I am heartless" scene is quite common. The attempts of girls to project themselves something(read heartless) they are not is also beautifully presented. No doubts the girl who borrowed me this novel was a girl Bt is one time read for everyone who have even remotely considered social networking sites as a medium for finding their partners. Does FB have a Dislike button? That would have been my choice :)Don't get me wrong - But may be I am not of the age to read this genre now. Hopefully the Gen Y or what ever Gen is currently named; surely would have liked it.Admired the storyline; maybe the chat scripts kinda narration was what put me off. Kudo's though to Nikita to write on the social network trend and knitting the people aspect in it. Characters are limited and that is the beauty of the story.Though I did not totally like it - have high hopes from the Author.
