My ReviewI love this book for what it does not have...I know, I know, you as a reader of this is wondering if I finally fell off my rocker....Well, I have not.....Your thinking, “She gave it four stars/hearts, but she said she loved it for what it did not have. I’m lost”. Fear not, I will explain.......I gave it four stars/hearts, due to the slow beginning. It took too much time to get to the exciting and juice parts. BUT that is the most that I can say bad about this book.I love that the author kept it really clean, I mean there is only kissing involved in this hwhole book, but it works. It works very well. If you want that over the top love scenes, then this book is not for you. This is back in the day, wholesome clean get to know eachother without the complication of sex involved. I think there should be more books like this one. I guess this does not sell well, but it should. The author did a great job on making this book feel real and I felt apart of the story line. I was so drawn into the story that I could not put this book down. I did not want it to end and I can not wait until of..... “The Rest of The Story”.The characters were very believeable and I could picture them vividly. I felt for there pain and happiness when they experienced the feelings.I hope that this kind of book reaches out and touches the world, just maybe it will be a better place for it. ;)4 StarsI got this book as an ARC, but my review is real. I was given an ARC by the author for an honest review. With that said…OMG…I absolutely loved this book! Love Exactly is a sweet story about true love, freedom, and acceptance. Cassandra Giovanni did an awesome job bringing you into the story and I fell in love with Emma and Evan right from the start!Emma has a dark past filled with physical and emotional abuse, which has caused her to create a wall around herself that’s been up for the past 5 yrs. She’s a journalist for the town paper, which gives her meaningless stories, covering up her true passion for actual writing, which she hasn’t really done since escaping her demons.Late one night, she’s getting coffee at a convenient store, when she literally bumps into Evan, who happens to be a famous rock star…what are the chances right? He asks her out for “real” coffee and the two of them hit it off instantly. Ryan’s rock star status has Emma wondering why he’d ever give her the time of day, but that’s where the romance begins. Ryan is attracted to Emma’s sweet and innocent side. He longs for normalcy in his crazy world, and she brings that to him, and understands him in a way no one else ever has.They start a long distance relationship, seeing each other every chance they get, in between Evan’s band touring, but making it hard on the both of them too. Emma has insecurities about herself, which frequently caused little rifts between the two of them. Evan, being the sweetheart he is, always seemed to calm her down and help her realize just how much worth she has, and how much he loves her for her! I completely loved the fact that their love was a slow process, not rushed in anyway. They were actually able to get to know each other as friends, and slowly explore each other as lovers also. Evan being 8 yrs older, and knowing what Emma has gone through in her past, never rushed her in anyway and that made me fall in love with the man even more!
