Great siblings themed book. My son and I were able to talk about how to handle our feelings when sister ruins our work/projects. In this book the big sister was upset because the little brother cut up her "masterpiece." At first she was upset but then chose to get over it and instead display his art and tell him how much she liked his art. Anders and I were able to think of a few times baby sister "ruined" some of our things and then we talked about ways that we handled our emotions. In other areas of the book- the art was clear and helped the the story. Font was easy to read. I really liked this book. I might give it five stars later if Anders asks for me to read it to him a few more times. “So little time, so much to draw.” Louise is having an art show and needs inspiration for her masterpiece. Fortunately, her cat is a great model, and Louise is ecstatic over the portrait. So excited is she about her marvelous work that she fails to notice her little brother (named Art, of course), defiling her artwork with red crayon and scissors.
