Surprisingly good read. When I read the almost truth by Eileen Cook, I removed her from my potential-favorite-authors list, but she might just have won her spot back with this paranormal, romantic, sexy, funny read. I felt as if I really knew the characters; like whenever she was mad at Richard I would find myself getting angry too. Eileen did a great job with detail in this book.The humour was spot on. I found myself laughing at everything the protagonist Isobel said, especially when it came to Nate.Nate was absolutely perfect. I won't go into depth for spoiler purposes, but that's all you really need to know anyway. Overall, this was a satisfying read, one I might even reread. Highly recommended I think I expected too much out of this book. I mean...it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great, either. It was just...okay. I mean, it was funny but other than that...I kind of thought it was boring. I thought that it being about ghosts and murder and hauntings that it would be...less predictable. And sometimes predictable is good, but this was just...painstakingly bad. And a bit cliche with the love story... It really could have gone without the love story. To be honest, I got to page 100 and gave up and had to start skimming the freaking thing. And the end was the most predictable, cliche thing I've ever read in a long time. Like I said, it wasn't a horrible book, though it did have so many spelling errors I was cringing, but it wasn't a fantastical book, either.It was just...okay.
