I read this book because I find all books written by Nalini because I just love her Psy-Changeling series and I want more from her. I read some of her Sheikhs and others then I stumble with this book. When I start, i thought this is just a single book like her others (because when I see from her List books, this is not stated as series). My first thought is the background story is not bad. We got all the introduction so it still didn't occurred to me that this is the last book of a series. I like the characters and the chemistry, but feels like some things simply not explained enough.. like they just mention it one or two times while I want to be explained about how and what's the significant of it.. and some parts is a bit repetitive, but I still can pass through it.I quite enjoy the romance when I realized more than half way of the books and we're still.. talking about romance.. If only we're given more proportional parts between romance, revelation, journey, and happy endings, this book will be much better. As it is, the danger is simply went by without real thriller in it. This book is not bad, but I can not help wishing for more. I loved this book! If I had to compare it to something, I'd say fans of P.C. Cast's Goddess of Spring should really enjoy this one.Pros: The pacing was perfect, starting from the very first scene with the hero and heroine. Micah was a unique hero who managed to be rough and dark while still being sexy and lovable -- not an easy combination to pull off. Liliana was complex and strong and believable. The minor characters were equally well done. The Bitterness reminded me of something that could have come out of Miyazaki's movie Spirited Away.Cons: I couldn't put the book down, so it made me sit reading longer than I should have. I suppose Micah's armor as Lord of the Abyss was reminiscent of Spawn, but the author made him multifaceted enough that he did not come across as a comic book character.I definitely recommend this book
