The idea behind the story was good, but the execution of it failed to deliver, at least for me. The writing wasn't up to par with other authors I've read. I did not finish the book because I noticed I was only waiting for the moment she'd tell him they had a son and was skipping lots of text because I was bored.One little thing annoyed me, especially at the start of the book, and that was the repetitive repeating (!) of the first names of the characters. I got the impression it was a little trick to make it clear who was talking to whom as if the author wasn't confident the conversation made that evident.
I'm not sure what to say about this book.. It had all the things that I love in a book.. a second chance at love for two people who after years apart find each other again and discover their attraction for each other is still there..What I didn't like was the way this story was told ..it was confusing at times ..it was told from an outer POV but also from every characters POV which was weird and I didn't really like ... Also some off the wording used just grated me a bit ... It had great potential I think but just didn't do it for me..
