Novella, second chance romance. Started off well, the plot and characters believable and time had been invested in their background so you felt the tension. But, I didn't like the second half. With the slow build of the first part, it was to the detriment of the rest of the story. It peaked and then rushed headlong to an ending....well.....what type of ending was that??? I felt there could've been more said to finish it properly, it was a bit of an easy way out of a decision that dominated most of the story. Too much crammed into too few pages with too many questions unanswered!!!And can someone please tell me what the significance of the reindeer was??? Because I was waiting for the big reveal and nothing......!!!!! Overall, it had serious potential, but being a novella didn't allow the story to fully develop :( October 19, 2014Everything you would expect a beautifully written Christmas story to be. Even in this short enchanting romance Josh Lanyon gives his characters depth and strength. Mitch and Web come together after years of separation only to find that the years apart didn't matter in the big picture of life. What a wonderful story about two men who finally found love in each other. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!
Do You like book Lone Star (2011)?
I enjoyed this, but the ending could have been a little more rushed. *sarcasm*
