About book Lockout (2000)

This book was so boring to me it took everything in my to finish! Too many guessing games, hero keeps popping up out of nowhere, story line to unbelievable I mean a bar that's run down in the front but go thru a door and it's a lavishly decorated place with a pool in the back!? And I'm not even going to talk about how it abruptly ended. I highly doubt I will read the rest of the series just not interested enough to care how it ends. This is a continuation in the series, and at the start I must admit to finding the storyline a bit boring, and so so. Can't quite put my finger on what's missing, but the storyline did redeem itself with the cliffhanger ending and the mystery surround what Sebastian does for a living. What happened to his past love, and why he's keeping Sophia at a distance when he is very clearly in to her. He's described as a Dom, but I fail to see much of his Dom nature, even though he describes what he believes makes him the Dom, I still failed to really feel this part of him...maybe just me.The ending has me so hooked that I am now jumping straight to the next book.I've enjoyed this book, and in am happy to continue on. It's an easy read, and quick...a bit too quick for me. I would say it's more a 3.5 stars if pushed, but only because of the great ending!!!!!
