Lincoln's Last Days is a book that is based on the sixteenth president of the United States Of America. It is a story that changed the Union forever, now I know how it happened. The story takes place in Civil War times. When the Northern states( Union ), and the Southern states( Confederates ). We're at war on slavery. After the Union victory and Lincoln reunited the nation people started to hate him in the south and vowed revenge. The author made it clear when something happened. He used many sound effect words to set the setting and action. That made the book really come to life. I highly recommend this book to people who like historical fiction. This book was an excellent read and I would highly reccomend it. This book is about Lincolns assasination and the plots and details that went into it. It shows everything about the assassination before, during, and after it happens. This book explains things in great detail which helps understand it alot better. The author also provides great visual detail by showing historic things from that time and showing there photos. You can't find a better Lincoln book than this one, it was a great book and once again i loved it, and would reccomend it to anyone.
