I was waaaay to old for this book. It's very possible that fourteen year olds will swallow it whole, it was after all written more for them than for me. But I thought it was way too cliché (which is sayibg something because I usually don't mind clichés) and cormy and just too, I don't know, pedagogic? That's a word, right? Anyways, it felt like sooo many situations were situations YOU just might find yourself in and when you do THIS what you should do about it. Anyways - not for me. The perfect summer read! Great for tomboys and hopeless romantics alike. When Sam's best friend gets a boyfriend, she decides she doesn't want to spend the summer being the third wheel. So she decides to try something new, and go to Whispering Pines summer camp. Her time at camp is full of new friendships, budding romances, drama caused by the popular Ashley, and of course, practical camp pranks. You will laugh out loud reading this book! I recommend it to everyone!

It was cute. Better to read in the summer, I really wish it was warmer :). Good read though.
