Una persona, dos vidas paralelas. Una en la que es feliz y tiene una familia estupenda, pero en un mundo con terrorismo y violento. Y la otra en la que su vida familiar no es tan buena, pero ese mundo es mejor que el nuestro. Por ciertos motivos personales es un libro que me ha llegado especialmente, aunque no creo que a todo el mundo le pase lo mismo. Demasiado sensiblero. Pero, ¿qué decisión tomarías tú? I might be prone to classify this as a fictional history of one woman who may have lived out two different lives rather than a fiction story. Life events unfold along with world events but to me it never seemed like a real story. It seemed somehow emotionless to me, told with a detached voice, and so I never really felt one way or another about the characters. Instead I started thinking about how utterly boring my life has been. Maybe this book will inspire me to start making my life more interesting.
Not sure I agree with the ending but it was an intriguing book. I do love alternate histories.
