Brilliant Writing!I loved the story but hated the characters.I felt that Hannah got the raw end of the deal.How could she be okay with everything? How do you go back from that point.I loved Nate so hard and kinda wished him and Hannah had something happen,he was so perfect!Seth made me so sad,he came across so lonely and lost. His judgement of Matt's character I felt to be apt.All in all the whole book made me a bit sad.Hannah deserves better than Matt IMO.Matt is all classic artist,self centred,selfish,manipulative and needy.I dont want to rant but I really hated him. I have never hated a male lead so much.As a character he was written beautifully,you feel for him and root for him but when you look at how his actions affect others, it makes you kinda just wanna slap the crap out of him.A very well written book all in allLet the record state that I hated Melanie from the get go and I could see where that was going fromt he first email.aaaaaah what can I say,I was really frsutrated with this book but enjoyed it none the less.Final verdict,I hope Hannah leaves this asshole and does her or he has to make a MASSIVE turnabout and maybe,just maybe ill be team HM.That is all Night Owl was a hands down 5 star read for me. So needless to say I was looking forward for this book to come out. And although I really liked it, it wasn't the 5 star read the first book was. Matt Sky was still the sexy talker he was in the first book and Hannah was still a strong character, but their connection together was not as strong... We were introduced to a few new characters that added the twists and turns that I appreciate in M. Pierce's writing. I would sure love to get Matt's brother's story! Maybe we will be lucky and get a spinoff, because I think there is definitely a story there to be told!
