Che la conoscenza elimina i pregiudizi; che l'amore esiste per tutti, perché Dio sin dalla nostra nascita ci destina una persona che ameremo e che ci amerà, basta solo amare e lasciarsi amare, senza ripensamenti sul passato, sui cuori infranti da altre persone: ce lo hanno infranto perché dovevamo imparare, perché non era la persona adatta, l'anima gemella; che le religioni, nonostante le differenze vi siano in ognuna, ci accomunano tutte a Dio, perché Egli è unico, ed è il primo ad insegnarci ad avere FEDE e ad AMARE, lui ci ama e noi dobbiamo scovare all'interno della nostra anima. The main character, Hope, is at a very low part of her life and has trouble letting people in to help, console, or love. The other main character is Hope's grandmother who is suffering from Alzheimer's and wants to come to grips with her previous life as a Holocaust survivor and her current legacy. I've never heard a story from a French Holocaust perspective and found the story very fascinating in a tragic way. I would highly recommend this book because of all the different individual stories and the hope and romance laced into all the tragedy.
