Well. What to say. Well for one, I loved the concept of the story, the twists, the romance, and the cuteness. At parts, I did feel it was a bit too cheesy or too good to be true. But all in all, this book is a solid four star book. It's a nice contemporary read and especially after the Mara Dyer incident with me, it was refreshing. I would absolutely positively definitely recommend this book to anyone! Not just for people finishing a creepy book, or trying to get out of the slumps from ending a series. This is so cute and adventurous and you'll really enjoy the emails. And it's a page-turner as well!! :) :P Qué genial manera de empezar el día de Navidad terminando un bonito libro!Esta historia me llegó por el mismo medio que llegó "La Probabilidad Estadística del Amor a Primera Vista", primer libro de la misma autora y estoy más que contenta y agradecida por esos grupos de Facebook de Venta e Intercambio que nos permiten muchas veces conseguir libros "inconseguibles"."La felicidad debe ser algo así" nos habla del amor inesperado pero verdadero, la identidad, la fama, las mentiras y el alcance de nuestras decisiones.Debo decir que me gusta mucho la clase de historias que plantea la autora, basadas en amores que surgen de formas inesperadas, en situaciones atípicas y que fomentan algo realmente verdadero e invita a reflexionar sobre el destino de cada persona. Los personajes se conocen de maneras únicas, y no se cruzarían unos con otros en sus rutinas diarias.Graham conoce a Ellie por internet, al enviarle un mail erróneamente al intentar contactarse con alguien que pasea a su cerdo (sí, cerdo!). Comienzan a charlar y descubren que tienen mucho en común, y las charlas vía mail se extienden por meses, hasta que Graham decide conocerla y para eso va a manipular sus contactos de estrella de cine para que el set de su película se instale en Maine, el pueblito de Ellie.Ambos esconden quienes son uno del otro, y la fama de Graham comenzará a traerles problemas y a reflotar secretos del pasado. Leer lo que es la fama, el precio de ella, fue triste y desesperante: es más que obvio que ningún actor acepta el acoso de los paparazzi o las personas comunes que se ven envueltas en un escándalo y menos las mentiras que se tejen a su alrededor pero verlo plasmado, hace tomar conciencia del alcance que implica volverse famoso.Por otro lado, algo que adoré fue esa determinación de él a encontrar a Ellie. Graham le muestra al chico que hay detrás de la estrella, y ambos al tener tanto en común, encajan perfectamente. Esa decisión de volver real su "relación" es perfecta ya que a través de la red realmente no conoces del todo a la otra persona. Puede encajar o no con su versión virtual, pero es necesario averiguarlo (teniendo en cuenta todo el tema de la seguridad en internet, claro está, tampoco hay que encontrarse con cualquiera eh!)Es una historia fresca, intensa y ocurrente que abre las puertas al mundo de las posibilidades. En ocasiones suceden las mejores cosas y conocemos a personas únicas de las formas más sorprendentes. La recomiendo para una lectura ligera ya que se lee súper rápido y es un fresco descanso de tanta lectura de saga y esas cosas.Ahora que lo pienso, este libro llegó a mis manos de una forma inesperada...tal y como plantea Jennifer la base de sus relatos. ;)

I loved this book. I was hoping for an easy, fun, happy read and this book delivered. Without wanting to spoil anyone, this story starts with the two main characters, Ellie and her secret 'email friend', getting to know each other by email. Months go by and eventually they meet in person. This causes some unusual problems because they both have kept certain information about themselves secret. The story picks you up immediately and does not let you go. There is never a dull moment and the pace of the book is quite fast. While I was reading I realized that the possibility of a story like this happening in real life would be slim but I was still able to relate to the characters. I also like the fact that you have two point of views. The book starts from Ellie's side, so when it switches to the guy it was fun to know how he was experiencing all of it.

i love it! i applaud jennifer for opening the book in the most beautifully cliche way and then proceeding to insert twists and turns throughout the story that transformed the story into something special and unique. i love that the book ended in a really realistic way because i feel like that's the story i have truly learned to appreciate. it's incredibly easy to make a "and they all lived happily ever after" sort of ending but that isn't how life and love works and it takes a really good author to be realistic but at the same time maintain the romantic tone. hats off to jennifer e. smith for that.

Probably more like 3.5 stars. It was a cute read, but nothing revolutionary or unique about it.
