Lo mejor que he leído de Asano, sin duda.Cinco personajes jóvenes: dos chicas y tres chicos. Dos parejas más uno. Se conocen desde la universidad. ¿Quién, desde un primer momento, ha sabido lo que quería hacer en su vida? Ninguno está realmente feliz, pero se conforman con lo que tienen. Un buen día una de ellas decide dar un cambio radical con su trabajo antes de desesperarse o que el tiempo transcurra demasiado.Meiko solo es la primera ficha de dominó que provocará que la hilera de amigos intenten imitarla y tomar las riendas de su vida. Suena a típico y no voy a negarlo así que lo acompaño de una frase típica que define bien este manga: Toda decisión tiene una consecuencia, pero si no arriesgas no sabes qué te espera.Ya estoy acostumbrada a que el autor plasme tristeza en todas sus obras (o por lo menos en todas las que he leído), pero esta es muy diferente. No sabría decir si el final es dulce, triste, amargo. No porque no entienda el final, ni mucho menos, es que cada lector puede ver el transcurso de la lectura con un prisma diferente y el final tres cuartos más de lo mismo. Ha conseguido que me identifique con un poquito de cada personaje, cosa que considero complicada.Más de una lágrima y una sonrisa he esbozado a cada página.Y, claramente, pasa a ser uno de mis favoritos. This captures for the artist, then 24, that time of her life, and for others, the time between young adulthood and adulthood, where you feel like you may be selling out your dreams and very day pleasures for boring, regimented, uncreative adult life. This is a novel told from the perspective of a young girl, Meiko, 24 who has been in a relationship for 6 years with Naruo. She hates her office girl job, he works part time illustrating but wants to be in a band even if they aren't spectacular. The band is a symbol of creativity and living one's passion and dreams…sound familiar? But the art is good, the main character is engaging… but as the artist says herself in an afterword, this isn't about superheroes and not even supercool people but just average, every day people, a slice of life anyone can relate to. And from my perusing some of the other twenty-something reviews, she captures the spirit of the twenties, as they found it moving. I liked it a lot.

Ok, so the art is cute and so is the story but sometimes the story just seemed kinda boring to me.
